CANCUN AIRPORT
Cancun Airport is one of the most important airports of Mexico and Latin America located on the Caribbean shores of Mexico in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Cancun International Airport is the second busiest airport of Mexico after Mexico City International Airport but the biggest for international passengers, only in 2015 the Cancun Airport had almost 20,000,000 million passengers.
The Cancun Airport has 3 terminals, terminal 1 that’s mainly for small low-budget airlines.
Terminal 2, that handles mostly domestic flights but also some international flights.
And Terminal 3 which is almost brand new that handles mostly International flights from the United States and Europe and it has two runways that can work simultaneously giving the airport the possibility of a bigger operation.
There is the project for a new Terminal 4 to be concluded in 2017 to expand the operations of the airport by a lot.
The company that operates the Cancun Airport is ASUR (Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste) and it’s official website is http://asur.com.mx/en.html unlike other websites you’ll find in Google.
